Eelgrass Mapping

 

Print your own Eelgrass maps using Google Earth or QGIS of an area near you using the state’s 2010 eelgrass data, then check if it is growing there now, and report your finding on MDIBL’s citizen science community, Anecdata.org!

GIS Mapping is a skill students in the Young Environmental Leaders Program are taught by instructors from the Island Institute and Western Mountain Mapping.
